With support from the Ukrainian State Film Agency, MP Mykola Kniazhytskyi and partners, DEMFORUM NGO organised Ukrainian Film Days in Verkhovyna.
Over two days, residents of Verkhovyna and surrounding villages watched contemporary Ukrainian films free of charge, including The Stolen Princess: Ruslan and Lyudmila, Crazy Wedding, The Wild Fields and Legend of the Carpathians.
The project aimed to promote contemporary Ukrainian cinema and broaden access to it in the regions.
In 2018, Ukrainian Film Days took place in Verkhovyna for the third time. Earlier screenings had been held in 2017 and as part of the Via Carpatia International Forum in 2018.
