DEMFORUM NGO is delivering an educational project that clearly explains to Ukrainians how the European Union works and what Ukraine’s accession to the EU will mean in everyday life.
The team is creating a series of 20 short episodes about the EU’s structure and rules, European integration reforms and the changes Ukrainians may face. The aim is to explain complex processes in accessible language, debunk common myths and build realistic expectations of Ukraine’s EU membership.
Before creating the series, the team held focus groups with Ukrainians of different ages to explore their expectations, questions and concerns about European integration. Experts are also contributing to the episodes.
The EU Explained is delivered by the All-Ukrainian Democratic Forum NGO as part of the Phoenix: Power of Communities project, implemented by the East Europe Foundation with the support of the European Union.
