From December 23 to 24, 2018, the “All-Ukrainian Democratic Forum” public organization, with the support of the State Agency of Ukraine for Cinema, People’s Deputy of Ukraine Mykola Kniazhytskyi and other partners, plans to hold the “Days of Ukrainian Cinema in Verkhovyna” event. The event is designed to give residents of the region an opportunity to familiarize themselves with modern, high-quality Ukrainian cinema and popularize national cinema.
Over the course of two days, Verkhovyna residents and residents of the surrounding villages will be able to watch the following Ukrainian films: the children’s film “The Stolen Princess: Ruslan and Lyudmila”, the comedy film “Crazy Wedding”, and the films “The Wild Field” and “Legend of the Carpathians”. Admission to the sessions will be free by invitation. We strive to attract as many viewers as possible to the audience of new Ukrainian cinema.
“Days of Ukrainian cinema in Verkhovyna” are being held for the third time. For the first time, new Ukrainian cinema visited Verkhovyna on December 19-22, 2017. For the second time, the “Days of Ukrainian Cinema” took place within the framework of the International Forum of Eastern and Central Europe “Via Carpatia”, which took place from June 23 to 30, 2018 (“Transcarpatia” film festival).
Information partners of the event: “Espreso” TV channel, “Hutsulska Stolitsia” radio, “Verkhovynski Visti” newspaper.
