Representatives of the NGO “All-Ukrainian Democratic Forum” visited the professional film market European Film Market – EFM, which is held every year as part of the Berlinale film festival in Berlin, Germany.
Managers of “Demforum” held negotiations with potential international partners from such countries as Austria, Israel, Canada, Germany, Poland, Hungary, France, etc.
At EFM, there was networking on co-production opportunities and a number of presentations of the full-length feature film project “Vincenz”, which is in the final stage of development, in B2B format.

We will remind you that “Vincenz” is a future large-scale film, which is planned to be co-produced by Ukraine and EU countries (in particular, Poland), dedicated to the “Homer” of the Hutsul region – Stanisław Vincenz, the author of the Hutsul epic “On the High Uplands”. In the center of the plot is a great story of life and love, and a true tale about the origins of European civilization, where the modern viewer will see recipes for saving the world in which we all live today.
The fantastic stories of the epic will come to life in the film between the episodes of the life of the outstanding thinker – and will pass as a leitmotif through his personal story of love, struggle, escape from wars and totalitarian regimes to remind us of another world – the dream paradise of Europe of many peoples living among themselves in harmony and mutual understanding – a world that we have lost, but which we can still revive.
The pre-production project was implemented in 2019 by the NGO “All-Ukrainian Democratic Forum” with the support of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation, and the script in 2018 – also with the support of UKF, was created by Ukrainian playwrights Natalia Vorozhbyt (“Cyborgs”) and Max Kurochkin. This spring, the project is getting a boost thanks to script doctoring in the US.
Shooting is planned to begin this year.
