A meeting of the expert group of the future Stanisław Vincenz Center for Intercultural Dialogue took place in Kyiv.
The center is planned to be created in the village of Kryvorivnia in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. Implementation of the project became possible with the support of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation. For its competent implementation, the public organization “All-Ukrainian Democratic Forum”, which is the initiator of the creation of the Center, invited the best experts to the discussion.
“The best experts on this topic, on the history of Ukraine, Hutsul Oblast, Polish-Ukrainian dialogue have gathered. These are the best specialists who are a joint powerful think tank.”
– says project manager Maria Gurska.
They talked about the roadmap for the launch of the Stanisław Vincenz Center for Intercultural Dialogue. Experts agreed that the future cultural institution should develop the ideas of Stanisław Vincenz and introduce visitors to his heritage. The center should become a place of meeting, work and intellectual recreation for scientists, students and local residents. A unique exhibition space will be created taking into account the trends of modern European museums.
“This is an attempt to create one of the first museums of synthetic cultural projects. Because it will represent not just a museum, as a collection of dead artifacts, but also a living environment.”
– said historian, public figure, scientific consultant of the project Andriy Pavlyshyn.
The center will open its doors to visitors in the period from 2019 to 2020.
The project is implemented with the financial support of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation.
