On Thursday, January 15, 2026, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted in its entirety draft resolution No. 14334 “On strengthening the role of the Ukrainian language in the establishment of the Ukrainian state.” This is an important decision that will improve Ukrainian legislative terminology and introduce a modern variant of Ukrainian spelling.
