On September 18, Espreso will start showing the television series “Strong Stories”, created with the support of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation.

“Strong Stories” is a television cycle of 12 programs – successful examples of the formation of families of Ukrainians – parents of children with disabilities. Each issue is the story of a separate family raising a child with developmental disabilities – blind, with autistic disorder, epilepsy, cerebral palsy, etc. – fights for her full childhood and life – and successfully copes with this mission.

The purpose of the program is to give action instructions to parents who are faced with the challenge of fully raising a child with a disability, to promote networking of such families and the spread of contacts between them, to raise the level of tolerance and respect for “otherness” in society, and to call officials to responsibility in the direction of implementing reforms of inclusive child rearing.

The project is implemented by the public organization “All-Ukrainian Democratic Forum”.

The premiere of the first episode of the cycle will take place this Saturday, 18.09, at 10:30 a.m., with a repeat at 5:00 p.m. Espreso TV channel will air new episodes every Saturday and Sunday.
