The non-governmental organization “All-Ukrainian Democratic Forum” successfully passed all stages of the competition of the program “Strengthening the power of the Ukrainian audiovisual sector” and signed a grant agreement with the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation for the project “Pre-production of the feature film ‘Vincenz’” #For Support UKF

The project involves the development of an individual presentation package for a feature film (logline, director’s, producer’s vision, teaser, storyboard, explanation of the director, producer and production designer, sketch of scenery, casting of actors, list of locations, etc.).

In 2018  #For Support UKF  the script of the film was created (the authors are well-known Ukrainian screenwriters Nataliya Vorozhbyt and Maksym Kurochkin).

After the pre-production stage, we plan to start shooting a full-length feature film about Stanisław Vincenz. The film will spread the ideas of intercultural dialogue, tolerance and humanism, as well as contribute to the establishment of Polish-Ukrainian dialogue and the implementation of Ukraine’s European course.

Over the past few years, the NGO “All-Ukrainian Democratic Forum” has been paying attention to the legacy of Stanisław Vincenz as part of its strategic activities. The popularization of the figure of Stanisław Vincenz as a “promoter” of Hutsul Oblast and Ukraine in the world is, in our opinion, a significant factor in the development of the Ukrainian Carpathians as a destination for travel, business and investment, as well as a positive perception of Ukraine by the countries of the European Commonwealth – in particular, Ukraine’s closest neighbors – the countries of the Carpathian Euroregion – Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, Romania, etc. The humanistic ideas of Stanisław Vincenz can be a guide for modern Europeans – after all, Vincenz knew and witnessed how people of different nationalities can harmoniously coexist side by side, he considered tolerance and tolerance of “otherness” to be the main value, which is extremely relevant in the modern world.
