{"id":6139,"date":"2026-10-27T00:53:50","date_gmt":"2026-10-26T22:53:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/na.sofard.dev\/?post_type=project&#038;p=6139"},"modified":"2026-10-30T18:47:28","modified_gmt":"2026-10-30T16:47:28","slug":"fourth-estate","status":"publish","type":"project","link":"https:\/\/na.sofard.dev\/en\/projects\/fourth-estate\/","title":{"rendered":"The Fourth Estate: Influence, Challenges, Responsibility"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"is-style-lead wp-block-paragraph\">With support from the US Embassy in Ukraine\u2019s Media Development Fund, DEMFORUM NGO delivered The Fourth Estate: Influence, Challenges, Responsibility.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project aimed to develop journalists\u2019 professional skills, critical thinking and a responsible understanding of the media\u2019s role in social and political processes.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Leading Ukrainian journalists gave public lectures and held regional meetings with representatives of national and local media, journalism students, bloggers and civic activists.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Particular attention was paid to professional standards, objectivity, media manipulation and journalists\u2019 responsibility for the quality of information the public receives.
