We are initiating this open discussion to raise the issue of the potential economic, infrastructural, environmental and tourism development of the Carpathian region.<\/p>\n<p>The international conference &#8220;Vincenz Circle: The Future of the Carpathians&#8221; will include the following panel discussions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>economic models of agricultural development in mountainous areas<\/li>\n<li>the future of the EU<\/li>\n<li>tourism as a factor in the development of the economy of the Carpathian region<\/li>\n<li>victories and defeats of Central European reforms: lessons for Ukraine<\/li>\n<li>Via Carpatia. Infrastructure projects as a way to unify the countries of the Carpathian Euroregion<\/li>\n<li>green heritage of the Carpathians: ecosystem, natural reserves, innovations for the development of the region<\/li>\n<li>Vincenz&#8217;s legacy: the culture of mountain peoples as a driver of regional development<\/li>\n<li>information weapons in hybrid conflicts of the 21st century<\/li>\n<li>ways of preserving intangible cultural heritage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Stanis\u0142aw Vincenz Prize &#8220;For Humanistic Service and a Contribution to Regional Development&#8221; will be presented at the conference.<\/p>\n<p>The prize is awarded to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>representatives of local self-government<\/li>\n<li>representatives of public organizations<\/li>\n<li>opinion leaders in various dimensions of public life<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The organizers do not cover the expenses of the conference participants and do not organize their stay.
